If you have stem cell culture experience and are looking to transition out of the lab and into Quality then WiCell’s full-time Cell Culture Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant position may be for you! We will train the Cell Culture QA Assistant to serve a broad role within WiCell’s Quality Assurance team in maintaining and improving WiCell’s quality systems. This position would be a natural fit for someone transitioning from the lab to QA, or a candidate with entry level QA experience. The position will have the opportunity to work on Certificates of Analyses, sample tracking and lot release, document control, auditing, investigations, and document review/verification. This Cell Culture QA Assistant will collaborate with other functional areas to discuss and resolve errors and communicate quality discrepancies to management. This position requires the ability to evaluate, investigate and respond to quality-related questions and requests.
WiCell is located at 504 S. Rosa Road in Research Park on the west side of Madison.
Ideal candidates will have an associate or bachelor’s degree in a scientific program or technical field or equivalent experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ability to think analytically, maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality and problem solve is also required. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite required and Adobe Acrobat is preferred.
