The Opportunity

WiCell seeks a Student Office Assistant to join our Quality Assurance team! We are seeking an individual who is a critical thinker, is detail oriented, and able to work independently. This position will be responsible for a variety of tasks including filing, data entry, verifying scans, photocopying, assist in completing verification of WiCell stockroom inventory, and general quality assurance support. Student positions offer flexible schedules, an opportunity to gain great work experience and the ability to network and collaborate with WiCell staff.

 

WiCell is looking to hire a Student Office Assistant to start immediately and work through the school year. The candidate would work between 8-15 hours per week during the school year with the opportunity for additional hours during the summer and school breaks. WiCell does have parking and/or can supply a bus pass.

 

WiCell is located at 504 S. Rosa Road in Research Park on the west side of Madison.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will be working towards an associate or bachelor’s degree. Candidates pursuing a degree in a scientific program are encouraged to apply. Candidates need to possess strong attention to detail, organizational and critical thinking ability, excellent communication skills, confidentiality, and be able to multitask. Prior experience working in an office setting is preferred. The position may require lifting boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.
